Marketing – Consultant Roles for the Australia Post Stawell Gift

The Australia Post Stawell Gift is one the most prestigious Athletics events in Australia.

Having been staged in all but 4 years since 1878, it has grown from a small local meeting to be internationally recognized event, attracting athletes and spectators from around the world.

The 132nd Australia Post Stawell Gift Carnival will be staged from March 29th to April 1st.

The event is expected to attract over 700 athletes including some of the biggest names in world sprinting, competing in 65 events ranging from Little Athletics to Veterans (35+) for more than $120000 in prize money.

The Monday will feature a live 3 hour broadcast on ONE in addition to the expected 10000+ crowd expected for the weekend.

To continue to grow this major regional event, the Stawell Athletic Club seeks to appoint providers for the following services:

> Sponsorship and Event Co-ordination

> Media

> Marketing

> Elite Athlete Management

The term of the Contracts is to be 3 years, commencing May 2013. A handover and orientation period would be required during lead up and running of the 2013 Australia Post Stawell Gift. Interested parties may wish to register their interest to provide services to the Club in all of the above areas, or, if an area(s) of expertise lies in one or two of the areas, then register for those areas only.
