Tickets to Witness History at the 2023 Powercor Stawell Gift are now on sale via Ticketek.

The 141st running of the Powercor Stawell Gift will take place from April 8-10  in Stawell, Victoria. Visitors to the famous three-day carnival will be treated to top level athletics on the track and plenty of off-track activity for fashionistas and family’s alike.

“We are delighted to have tickets on sale for our 141st event,” said Cr. Murray Emerson, Chair of Stawell Gift Event Management.

“2023 will see the Powercor Stawell Gift take another leap forward in spectator experience as we enhance our offering in the VIP Viewing Area, offering public ticketed access to a premium hospitality deck on Easter Saturday and Easter Sunday.

“The experience for families on Easter Sunday will also be heightened as we introduce a soon to be announced range of new fun, family-friendly activities that will see Easter Sunday become a must-attend event for young families from across the region.”

In 2022, the who’s who of Australian athletics took to the green sward of the Central Park tracks and a stellar line of sprint stars and middle distance maestro’s are again expected to vie for Stawell glory. As one of Australia’s first ever events to offer equal prize money for men and women, the Powercor Stawell Gift and Strickland Family Women’s Gift will again compete for Australia’s richest – and equal – prize pool, with the winners each walking away with $40,000 in prize money.

Minister for Tourism, Sport and Major Events Steve Dimopoulos said: “The Powercor Stawell Gift is an icon of Australian sport and a massive drawcard for the Northern Grampians region, attracting visitors from across the state and boosting local jobs and businesses.”

Ticketek is the exclusive ticketing partner for the 2023 Powercor Stawell Gift. Tickets start at just $17 and there’s free entry for children on Easter Sunday. Easter Saturday features the Fashions on the Field Parade, while children will hunt for more than 10,000 mini Easter Eggs as part of the Powercor Stawell Gift Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday.  Attendees are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets on-line in advance of the event.

The 2023 Powercor Stawell Gift will take place from April 8-10, 2022 with the finals of the Powercor Stawell Gift and Strickland Family Women’s Gift taking place on Easter Monday. The event will be broadcast live and free on Seven from 11:30am AEST on Monday, April 10.
