MARK HIPWORTH
Mark Hipworth is a remarkable athlete who gained a reputation of being able to compete in both sprint and distance events with great success. His tally of Stawell wins and placings now reaches over 30. Highlights include victory over 3200m in 1993 and 1994, and he was the Bruce Walker trophy winner in 1981 and 2000. Hipworth was a Gift finalist in 1984.
In addition, Mark has to date trained 27 winners in distance events with over 50 placings.
2012 will mark his 32nd consecutive year running at Stawell.
