Peter Monaghan
Peter Monaghan was a successful distance runner in the 70s & 80s. In 1979 he won the ANZ bank 1600 metres and in 1980 he took out the Commonwealth Bank 3200m. Twice he ran second in the Herb Hedemann Backmarkers Invitation & one other second in the ANZ Handicap & 2 third placings round of an impressive career.
