ONE to deliver three hours of live Gift coverage on Easter Monday

The 131st edition of the Australia Post Stawell Gift will be broadcast live right around the nation, with ONE set to showcase three hours of live action direct from Central Park on Easter Monday.

The only live televised Australian athletics meet on free to air television, the Gift coverage will stream into lounge rooms from midday to 3pm (AEST) on Monday, 9 April 2012.

And millions more overseas will be able to watch the action unfold live, with the program also set to be delivered to 44 countries across Asia, the Pacific and the Indian sub-continent via the Australia Network.

The ONE broadcast will feature finals of all key races, including the Gift semi-finals at 12:40pm and the 131st running of the Gift at 2:45pm.

Delivering the insights, knowledge and excitement, will be an expert commentary team who boast more than 58 years of Gift experience between them. Hosted by Network Ten senior sports reporter Ian Cohen, renowned sports broadcaster Peter Donegan will return for his 16th Gift, and will be joined in the commentary box by 1982 Stawell Gift winner Chris Perry, who will celebrate the 30th anniversary of his Gift victory in 2012.
