T.A Ireland
Todd Ireland is a three-time Stawell Gift Finalist, finishing 3rd in 1990 and 4th in both 2001 and 2002. In 2002 he was also the winner of the Eric Cumming Trophy.
Between 1989 and 2007 he competed in 14 Stawell Gift semi-finals.
Todd’s successes at Stawell include 4 victories; Hank Neil 100m Masters in both 2007 and 2018; Jack Donaldson 200m in 2011 in one of the 6 times he has made the final in that event; and 300m Masters Handicap in 2013.
In all Todd has been a finalist on 18 occasions at Stawell and is still competing.
Since the late 90’s Todd has combined training runners as well as competing himself. As a trainer his stable wins at Stawell are into double figures, including sons Jake and Darcy who have both tasted victory at Stawell in recent years.
